The speaker will share how the school has been handling cases of SEN students (ASD and ADHD) with high functioning IQ. SEN students are troublemakers in both the eyes of teachers and peers. Their parents feel frustrated all through the year when meeting with teachers. With our strenuous efforts, the school has figured out a new mode of study path for the SEN students, letting them take S1 and S2 classes at the same time as he is talented in Math and Science subjects. In retrospect, the students can successfully pass through their 'tough' year with the help of all teachers involved and the collaboration of parents. We do hope such sharing can inspire on how we can ‘Think out of the Box’ to help our SEN students, not only to engage him to learn, but also to maximize his potential.
